Requirements
JProfileGrid provides both command-line support and a graphical
user interface. Software has been been tested on the Macintosh,
Windows, and Linux platforms and should work on any system
supporting the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 5.0 or higher.
Running JProfileGrid
To launch the graphical user interface under MacOS or Windows, double-click on the “JProfileGrid.jar” file icon. Alternatively, for very large alignments (10,000+ of sequences of average length 500 residues) use a command such as the following in a terminal to give Java more memory:% java -Xmx1024M -jar JProfileGrid2.jar
